"I take it all to heart..."

It's nice when you're browsing your iTunes and you stumble across a band that you used to like a lot, but for whatever reason haven't listened to in awhile.

Like Acceptance for example.

Later today I am taking a cooking class. Yes you read that correctly, a cooking class. If I make anything edible, I'll invite the three people who read my blog over for dinner sometime.

Peace, Love and appetizers at 6:30...

Faith...

Is a weird thing to me. It takes forever to believe and so little to tear it all down.

Think about it.

Life has been really trying to suck the good mood out of me, for what seems like this entire month. Not that good things haven't been happening. Its the whole one step forward, two steps backwards deal. But theres no such thing as luck or even "bad luck". Just a bunch of trials that travel in packs.

When it rains, it pours. But eventually it stops.

Top 5 ways to spend your weeekend off...

1. Wash your car.
2. Finally get around to filing your income taxes.
3. Listen to Lupe Fiasco.
4. Watch every episode of Sportscenter and every rerun thereafter.
5. Read through your old xanga post, and get a little red faced at some things

and then learn the following.

It's amazing to me how long you can pursue something.
A possession, a belief, a feeling, a person.
Who knows if you'll ever obtain it?
Or take for granted the times you could have.

And even if I never, I'm just going to love life the same way.
Or try my best anyway.

If I could be in any band....

It wouldn't definitely be Relient K.

Who else could name their B-sides CD "Birds and The Bee Sides" and not come off lame?

Exactly.

Tonight, I caught up with an old friend and it didn't feel old and it certainly felt like more than friends.

hmmm.

Mending...

Sometime in 2006 I was at a local show and saw a band called Stellamaris (now The New Frontiers) play. At the time they were unsigned and they blew me away. An awesome group of bearded gentleman with some beautiful tunes to back it up. Afterwards I shared a lengthy conversation with the guys about a mutual love of hip hop, Copeland and Ryan Adams. And how much their lead singer looked like Tom Petty in his teens. Anyhow, they later signed with The Milita Group and their new record "Mending" comes out tomorrow. I haven't heard it yet, but I'd imagine it doesn't suck.

Dear Tom Brady,

I didn't know it was possible to suck and choke at the same time.

Think about it.

Peace, love, and the overwhelming affirmation that cheaters will never win.

I bet myspace sucks without me

Its been 21 days since I last checked my myspace account, or so I have been told. I despise things like "ranking friends" or lame bulletins. No one cares what is sitting on your computer desk, or who is number 6 on your cell phone's speed dial. For that matter, no one really wants to see 500 pictures of anyone. Unless its Katherine Heigl. But I'll be the first to admit I don't always put things to words like I want to. But occasionally I stumble across people who do.

An excerpt from Matt Thiessen's (of Relient K fame) blog.

"Since I know that you myspace ladies are the only ones reading this blog right now (save Schneck), I'll take this opportunity to say hello. Thank you all for being so nice and writing me all the time. Its really flattering. I'm sorry that I don't respond. I don't really like myspace, and I primarily use it to keep up with friends that I had BEFORE myspace. Also, I don't know why you guys write me so much, but as an older (and perhaps wiser) human being, allow me to bestow upon you a wee bit of advice. Cherish these days of being young and free. Instead of writing me and being on the internet so much, do something productive. When I was in high school, I had a job, and when I wasn't working, I was teaching myself how to play the guitar."

ahh perfect, thank you Matt.

In other news Race the Sun is reuniting and the world is a better place for it. Now if only Blink...

peace, love and, internet relationships.

Sorry Dudes, My Bad...

Its January 14th and I have already broken every New Years resolution I set.

Ohh well.

In other blog news, I have decided its time to rename this thing. No more "Whats a Bond..." As much as I love Saves the Day, I want something so funny it makes you pee your pants everytime you visit. Too bad that since only three people know about this, its just futile.

peace, love, and depressing realizations that one single new day on a calendar can not change you as a person as much as you would like it to.

Optimistic.

I'm still learning exactly what that word means to me everyday. But Im not going to let life get me too down in the meantime.
